Alecu Russo Balti State University (USARB) will upgrade six university courses within the program of “Business and Administration”, Cycle II, Master.

This will become possible thanks to the Erasmus+project „ReSTART – Reinforce entrepreneurial and digital skills of students and teachers to enhance the modernization of higher education in Moldova”, co-funded by the European Commission through the Erasmus+ KA2 Program – Capacity Building in the Field of Higher Education. The project is implemented by the Polytechnic University of Bucharest beginning with this autumn and will last for three years.

The beneficiaries of the project in the Republic of Moldova are Alecu Russo Balti State University, ASEM, USM, Agrarian State University of Moldova and University of Cahul.

On December 22, the presentation of the “ReSTART” project was held at the Department of Economic Sciences of the Faculty of Exact, Economic and Environmental Sciences of USARB. A group was created that will be concerned with the implementation of the project and the chair members discussed the proceedings to be taken in order to achieve the project objectives.

Among other things, the project foresees the organization of two training sessions for the professors of the Department of Economic Sciences in Bucharest (Romania) and Košice (Slovakia).

Altogether, 384 master students, 75 teachers and administrative staff, 96 representatives of enterprises, professional associations, civil society and government entities from the Republic of Moldova will be involved in training within the “ReSTART” project.

The Erasmus+ Project „ReSTART – Reinforce entrepreneurial and digital skills of students and teachers to enhance the modernization of higher education in Moldova” was launched between December 14 and 16 at the Polytechnic University of Bucharest. Throughout these days, members of the nine-institution partnership discussed topics related to good project implementation, project management, effective dissemination of results, financial aspects, project sustainability..

The overall objective of the “ReSTART” project is to extend the benefits and enhance the impact of entrepreneurial curriculum on students and scientific and didactic staff by capitalizing on the advanced experience in the field.
