On 10th of October 2019, students from Moldavian universities took part to the second session of business completion event aimed to encourage innovation and entrepreneurial thinking and action in the partner country

The 2nd iteration of event was organized and hosted by State Agrarian University of Moldova (P7. SAUM)  in Chisinau and ensured the participation of 15 business plans projects developed by students from Moldavian partners  universities, during the 2nd  semester of the academic year 2018-2019.

The competition capacitated the students and teachers motivation to succeed and to be aware of the high potential of innovation in their own country.

 The participation of teachers from EU partners as Mrs. Elena FLEACĂ, University Politehnica of Bucharest (UPB), Mrs. Svilen KUNEV, University of Ruse “Angel Kanchev” (URAK), Bulgaria, Mr. Peter DZUPKA and Radovan DRAB, Technical University of Kosice (TUKE), Slovakia, and Mrs. Mihaela CODREANU, The Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF), Romania flourished discussions and best practices transfer in a wide range of topics suitable to entrepreneurship process: idea feasibility and opportunity recognition, business model creation, and managing new enterprise.

The EU experts have assessed the business plans in line with the competition methodology and ranked the Moldavian students accordingly.

The Evaluation Committee has appreciated the following business plans for their content, presentations and the students’ capacity to answer to the questions:

  3. Ana VIRLAN, New business for cultivation of organic lavender for ethyl oil, 85 points, State Agrarian University of Moldova
